Our Journey

American Brands is a New Jersey-based wholesale distributor with roots dating back to 1999, when our founders, Mr. Jayesh Sanghvi and Mrs. Bina Sanghvi, began their journey with a single product and an unwavering belief in their vision.

Mr. Jayesh introduced retailers across New York and the greater Tri-State area to a then-unknown brand called Awesome. Through his relentless dedication and exceptional salesmanship, he helped transform the brand into the household name it is today.

That single bottle has since grown into a catalog of thousands of products, covering nearly everything you would find in a home - cleaning supplies like laundry liquid and dish liquid, health and beauty items, household goods, plastic products, candles, air fresheners, and deodorants. Today, we proudly serve dollar stores, discount stores, grocery stores, supermarkets, bodegas, other wholesalers, and international customers, with a growing presence in the e-commerce space as well.

More than two decades in this business has earned us something that cannot be built overnight: trusted, exclusive partnerships. We are the exclusive East Coast distributor for the Awesome brand - what started as a single SKU has grown into a lineup of over 100 Awesome products alone. We also hold exclusive distribution rights for Xtra, Wizard, Love My Carpet, Scrub Free, and Moth Shield. Exclusivity is not just a title to us - it is what lets us offer our customers the best pricing and consistent, reliable inventory, order after order.

Alongside our exclusive brands, we have built deep expertise in importing generic and private-label goods across a wide range of categories - aluminum products, baby care, candles, seasonal items, plastic goods, party supplies, and virtually every kitchen essential.
